So many people think that making money online is as easy as signing up for a program, completing a few steps and then sitting back while the money rolls in. They believe or have an image in their mind that the internet is a get rich quick fantasy land. I believe many people get this impression from all the hyped programs that promise these riches so easily. Not to mention the zillions of spam emails that flood our inbox’s on a daily basis promising the same thing. If your expectation is to make money online without learning how to make money online then you are in for a big fat letdown. Get your mindset in the right place. Making money online is a lot of work but can be extremely rewarding and fun too.
#2- A Willingness To Learn
A willingness to learn how to market online is a must. If you have your own website or blog and you want people to find it then you need to learn how the online world works. Let’s take for example this blog where you are reading this article on. If you go to google and type in the phrase “make money online” then you will notice this blog ran by Alan Liew is listed on the first page of google. Now this has not come by accident. Alan has targeted these keywords and built his website around this niche. He also works very hard by adding original content daily and building backlinks to this site. There is a learning curve to on how to market online but there are also some great resources that teach you how to do it the right way.
#3- The Right Business Model
If you are looking to make money online then you need to find the right business for you. You really need to think in terms of supply and demand. Billions are spent online but they are spent on all sorts of different items. You need to find the niche you are interested in and find out if there is a demand. Then you need to feed that demand with a product where you can make money. Affiliate marketing is a great way to do this. Becoming an affiliate marketer for companies is free. They also in most cases will supply you with a replicated website that is embedded with your own affiliate Id to ensure you get credit for the sale. There are 100’s if not 1000’s of different affiliate programs in all types of niches. I have been online with the same affiliate program since April of 2008. This online business has been a great blessing to me and I am very happy to affiliated with it.
